Jonas Kearney Seigel

Jonas K. Seigel graduated Goucher College where he was a two year captain of the varsity lacrosse team. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan from which he graduated in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he served an extended period of volunteer service for Habitat for Humanity serving as crew supervisor and building homes in New Orleans, Louisiana. With the intention of continuing in the Firm's trial practice, Mr. Seigel served an internship with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. He has already tried a number of cases in both Ringwood Municipal Court where he served as Special Prosecutor and New Jersey Superior Court.

Mr. Seigel heads the Firm's Early Settlement Program resulting in a settlement of a large percentage of cases before litigation begins. He has developed strong bonds and relationships with insurance company adjusters. He has conducted extensive discovery on behalf of the Firm and personally represents a number of clients in the litigation process.

Jonas is a member of the American, New Jersey, Bergen County, Passaic County and Hudson County Bar Associations. In addition, he is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (formally the American Trial Lawyers Association) and a member of the Morris Pashman Inns of Court in Bergen County. He has been selected to the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association, a trustee of the Bergen County Bar Foundation, and a trustee of the Paterson Habitat for Humanity.

The New Jersey State Bar Association has chosen Jonas as the 2009 recipient of the Community Service Award and he has been included in the 2010 edition of Who's Who in America.
